Quails bred for meat
The selection centre has several quail strainss bred for meat:
- fast growing quail strains for standard or certified production,
- slow growing quail strains for Red Label or BIO productions.
Multi-purpose quail, both high meat and egg laying yield. Slow growth: A robust quail. Ideal for Label, Certified and Bio products.
Quails with the red gene, which can be used through the maternal line to sex the quails at 1 day, and so save breeding costs.
